Callers are stating they are with Duke Energy and your power will be disconnected.  To prevent the disconnection you MUST purchase a prepaid credit card and mail to them.  STAY ALERT! 

CALL DUKE ENERGY AT 1-800-452-2777 TO VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT STATUS.

Please be advised this is a SCAM. If you are approached please call the Sherriff's Department at 910-323-1500.
