Public Invited To Review Regional Hazard Mitigation Report Jan. 6
FAYETTEVILLE – The proposed 2016-2021 Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan will be presented to the public Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at E.E. Miller Recreation Center, 1347 Rim Road, Fayetteville.
The meeting is part of the planning process to complete a five-year Regional Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee report for Cumberland and Hoke counties. The committee is made up of county and city departments, citizens and stakeholders from both counties. The meeting will allow members of the public to review the proposed regional hazard mitigation plan. Interested parties include residents, business owners, property owners and tenants in Hoke and Cumberland counties.
Cumberland and Hoke County residents can look up topography maps and risks by visiting the following link, http://cumberlandgis.maps.arcgis.com/home, and clicking on the “Cumberland County Maps and Apps” icon. The map includes regional data and charts.
